We’re collecting donations to stock local food shelves.

Caledonia
To give a gift of food, drop off items at Merchants Bank-Caledonia between December 1-10. Monetary contributions are also accepted.

We’ve made it easy with Quillin’s Foods: Purchase a pre-package grocery bag worth $5, $10, or $20 at Merchants Bank or just add a monetary donation to your bill when you check out at Quillin’s.

Cannon Falls
Change Collection – December 2-10
Your change, changes lives. Merchants Bank staff will be collecting your loose change in their lobby with the donations going to Cannon Falls Food Shelf.

Cottage Grove
Merchants Bank-Cottage is coordinating the community’s 5th Annual “10 Days of Giving” Food Drive to help stock the Friends in Need Food Shelf. To give a gift of food, drop off the items at Merchants Bank-Cottage Grove, or place them in the collection barrel at any Cottage Grove Area Elementary School or participating business. Monetary contributions are also accepted.

Holiday Train – Saturday, December 14 • 5:00 p.m. • CP Rail Yard, Cottage Grove
You won’t want to miss Sheryl Crow and Take 5 as they perform at this year’s Canadian Pacific Holiday Train stop in Cottage Grove. The Holiday Train will be stopping to generate awareness for our local food shelf and collect donations for Friends in Need Food Shelf. Santa Claus will stop by and there will be entertainment, snacks and refreshments for everyone.

Hampton
Change Collection – December 2-10
Your change, changes lives. Merchants Bank staff will be collecting your loose change in their lobby with the donations going to Randolph Community Food Shelf.

Hastings
Merchants Bank-Hastings is coordinating the community’s 4th Annual “10 Days of Giving” Food Drive to help stock the Hastings Family Service food shelf. To give a gift of food, drop off items at Merchants Bank-Hastings, or place them in the collection barrel at any Hastings Area Elementary School. Monetary contributions are also accepted.

Holiday Train – Thursday, December 12 • 4:30 p.m. • CP Depot, 500 East Second Street, Hastings
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be stopping to generate awareness for our local food shelf and collect donations for Hastings Family Service. Santa Claus will stop by and there will be entertainment, snacks and refreshments for everyone.

La Crescent
Holiday Train – Tuesday, December 10, 8:45 p.m. • 215 South Chestnut St., 
La Crescent (North of the Commodore Food & Spirit)
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be stopping to generate awareness for our local food shelf and collect donations for La Crescent Area Food Shelf. Santa Claus will stop by and there will be entertainment, snacks and refreshments for everyone.

Onalaska
Rotary Lights – December 3 • 5:00-10:00 p.m. • Riverside Park, La Crosse,WI
Thousands of lights will light up Riverside Park with holiday magic. Walk or drive through and stop to enjoy live entertainment. Food and cash donations are accepted at the park entrance. Merchants Bank volunteers will be staffing the Rotary Lights display this night, with food and monetary donations from the evening going to WAFER – come visit us!

Red Wing
Change Collection – December 1-10
Your change, changes lives. Merchants Bank staff will be collecting your loose change in their lobby with the donations going to Red Wing Area Food Shelf.

Spring Grove
To give a gift of food, drop off items at Merchants Bank-Spring Grove between December 1-10. Monetary contributions are also accepted.

We’ve made it easy with Red’s Hometown Market: Pick up a pre-packaged grocery bag worth $10 or $20 at Red’s Hometown Market.

St. Charles
Merchants Bank-St.Charles is coordinating the community’s 25th Annual 
“10 Days of Giving” Food Drive to help stock the Southeastern Minnesota Rural Education and Resource Center food shelf. To give a gift of food, place the items at Merchants Bank-St. Charles, or in the collection barrel at any St. Charles Area School or participating business. Monetary contributions are also accepted.

Winona
Merchants Bank-Winona is coordinating the community’s 25th Annual “10 Days of Giving” Food Drive to help stock the food shelf at Winona Volunteer Services. To give a gift of food, place the items in a bag under the lobby Christmas tree at any Merchants Bank-Winona location, or in the collection barrel at any Winona Area School or participating business. Monetary contributions are also greatly appreciated.

The Holiday Lighted Parade – Saturday, December 7 • 5:30 p.m. • Downtown Goodview, 6th Street
Lighted and decorated barrels will be placed at Merchants Bank in Goodview and the Elk’s Lodge.  People coming to watch the Holiday Lighted Parade are invited to bring monetary gifts or non-perishable food items with them. Santa and 
Mrs. Claus will be collecting food along the parade route. Christmas cookies and hot chocolate will be served by Merchants Bank staff at the Bank on Sixth Street. After the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Elk’s Lodge to greet children.

Winter Carnival – Saturday, December 7 • 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.• 
Merchants Bank – Downtown Winona, 102 East Third Street
Join us for lunch with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Cost of the lunch is just a $5 
donation to the “10 Days of Giving” per person and includes the following: pizza lunch, one souvenir photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus per family, and five game tickets. Pizza donated by Green Mill.

Holiday Concert for the Hungry – Sunday, December 8 • 2:00 p.m.  
Winona State University Performing Arts Center
The Winona State University Symphonic Band and Symphonic Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Don Lovejoy, and the Winona State University 
Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Paul Vance, will perform their annual Holiday Concert. Residence Hall students from WSU will be collecting non-perishable food items. Admission to the concert is free with the gift of food or monetary contribution to the “10 Days of Giving” Food Drive.

Station, Winona
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be stopping to generate awareness for our local food shelf and collect donations for Winona Volunteer Services. Santa Claus will stop by and there will be entertainment, snacks and refreshments for everyone.
